TWO emergency workers have been assaulted in Winchester city centre.
The incident occurred at approximately 6.50pm at the Co-op in City Road yesterday, Wednesday, June 5.
Two paramedics were assaulted, with one being punched in the face and the other bitten on the arm.

A 49-year-old man from Basingstoke has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting by beating of an emergency worker.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 6.50pm yesterday (5 June) following a report that two paramedics had been assaulted by a male at the Co-op on City Road, Winchester. One paramedic was punched in the face and another was bit on the arm.
"A 49-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of assaulting by beating of an emergency worker."
