Newly launched nostalgia event, 'All Change', is set to resurrect the spirit of the 1950s and 1960s at The Watercress Line.

Scheduled for June 15-16, the celebration will showcase vintage vehicles, music, and steam train travel.

The event encourages attendees to don vintage attire. Visitors will be able to experience steam and diesel locomotive journeys on the route  between Alresford and Alton.

Ropley Station provides the backdrop for a classic car display and live performances from skilled artist Stephanie Belle, evoking the vibrant sounds of the fabulous '50s and sensational '60s.

At the Locomotive Shed in Ropley, an exposition of the railway’s restoration projects will be on display.

The Goods Shed in Alresford will host a vintage clothing sale.

Young attendees can take part in pottery painting at the West Country Buffet (at an additional fee), make use of Watercress Line's selfie station, and play in the locomotive playground.

Activities will take place from 10.30am until 4.30pm.

Food and beverages can be purchased at the West Country Buffet, the T-Junction, and Alton Kiosk, and the Alresford and Ropley station gift shops will be open.

The Watercress Line’s CEO Rebecca Dalley said: "We’re excited to bring the much-loved nostalgia of the 1950s and ‘60s to The Watercress Line for this brand new event.

"Book now for our fantastic All Change weekend on 15 and 16 June and enjoy the sights and sounds of this era when the spirit of change touched everyone’s lives and created an enduring legacy."
