Winchester Pilates, on Middle Brook Street, is excited to announce a fresh rebranding as it celebrates 18 months under the ownership of former professional horse rider, Sam Parsons.
This transformation reflects the studio’s evolution and commitment to sharing their extensive pilates expertise with the broader Winchester community.
Sam discovered pilates 15 years ago after a horse-riding injury. Impressed by the improvements in her strength and mobility, she trained as an instructor and joined Winchester Pilates as a member 12 years ago.
Two years later, she became a regular instructor. When the previous owners retired in December 2022, Sam took over the business.
Since then, she and her team have grown their supportive community, providing expert Pilates instruction and personalised guidance. They’ve expanded the studio space, introduced a wider range of classes, and brought in new equipment and teachers.
“Winchester Pilates is as unique as the people who come through our doors,” Sam says. “We work with individuals to future-proof their bodies and assist them through rehabilitation. It’s as much for mental health as it is for physical health.”
Known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, Winchester Pilates boasts a loyal clientele. Local clinicians and medical professionals frequently refer patients to Sam and her team for their journey to better health. They help people take ownership of their bodies through tailored pilates programs.
While reformer classes are currently trending in the fitness world, Winchester Pilates offers more than just a fitness fad. They support clients in achieving fitness, strength and mobility, as well as assisting them in overcoming and preventing sports injuries and managing neurological conditions like MS and Parkinson’s Disease.
Their extensive range of pilates equipment helps diagnose pain sources and train the body for improved strength and mobility through various challenges.
The studio provides both one-on-one and small group sessions with bespoke programs, as well as group classes in reformer and mat work, helping individuals achieve their fitness and mobility goals.
As Winchester Pilates continues to evolve, they are dedicated to helping more locals become the best versions of themselves through the transformative power of pilates.
