A YOUNG child has been injured in a hit-and-run incident in Swanmore.
The collision occurred in Church Road at approximately 1pm on Monday, May 27 and involved a silver vehicle.
The driver briefly stopped to check on the welfare of the child but then drove off without exchanging details.
The child, whose age has not bee revealed, only suffered minor injuries.

Police enquiries have been ongoing in order to try and identify the vehicle and driver involved, but officers are now turning to the public for assistance.
A police spokesperson said: “Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Did you see what happened or do you know the driver involved? Were you the driver involved?
“If you have any information which could assist in our investigation, including any dash cam or other footage, please call 101 and quote incident number 44240222122.”
