SOUTHERN Voices is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a special gala concert.
The concert will be held at St Paul’s Church, St Paul’s Hill, Winchester on July 13 at 6pm and will be followed by a gala reception.
The evening will feature performances of Vivaldi’s Gloria and JS Bach’s Magnificat.
There will be a line-up of soloists, each with a connection to the choir. This line-up includes Lucy Cronin and Lucy Mellors soprano, Claire Sutton-Williams mezzo-soprano, Gwilym Bowen tenor and Jamie W Hall baritone, all under the direction of the choir’s conductor Jamal Sutton.

Southern Voices will also welcome Endelienta Baroque, a group of young artists performing on historical instruments.
Tickets cost £35, or £20 for those under 21, for access to both the concert and the reception, while the concert only ticket costs £25.
