ONE application has been refused by Winchester City Council planning officers using their delegated powers this week.

In Kings Worthy, Simon Leigh, of The Corner House, 1 Eversley Gardens, was refused permission to construct a boundary fence.

Meanwhile, in Curdridge, Stuart Childerley withdrew his application to remodel an existing house and landscaping and construct an open-sided car port at Calcot Farm House, Calcot Lane.

All other applications were permitted.

In Bishop’s Waltham, Ali Temenos, of Midi Cote, Bank Street, can replace the front first floor bathroom window and first floor rear window with timber double glazed units and repair the front ground floor lounge window and first floor front bedroom window.

In Denmead, Mr G Clarke, of Pipers Ash, 2 Inhams Lane, has permission for the construction of store and carport.

In Durley, Mr and Mrs P Hardy can go through with their plans to convert their existing garage to habitable space and single storey side extension to create store at Lyons Cottage, Durley Brook Road.

In Harestock, Martin Webb can build his two-storey side extension at 27 Harestock Road.

In Headbourne Worthy, Richard Coope has permission for the reinstatement of existing fire damaged garage and carport block into two bedroom annexe as well as the provision of a dormer and velux style windows to the second double garage block at The Red House, Wellhouse Lane.

In Hursley, Ben Hummerstone, of The Cwtch, 11 Meredun Close, has permission to convert an existing integral garage to create habitable room.

In Kings Worthy, Clare Symonds, of 32 Wesley Road, can build a single-storey rear extension.

In Shawford, Yashpal and Hardeep Toor, of Kingsbury, Southdown Road, have permission for a remodel to include loft conversion, and side and rear extension.

In Shedfield, Mr and Mrs Tom Evans, of 2 Barn Cottages, Lower Chase Road, Waltham Chase, have permission for the construction of a garage/workshop.

In New Alresford, Mr and Mrs Bayati, of 28 Arle Gardens, have permission for an extension over the garage and to the rear of the property.

Dennis Nye, of Brookside, Northington Hill, Northington, received retrospective planning permission to regularise his Air Source Heat Pump installation.

In Winchester Town, Raman Gangwar has permission to remove the render from the southwest facade and replace with a lime-based render, including other repairs to the brick structure, leadwork and roofing, at 155 High Street.

Tracey Clift, of Hayward, 6 Lockburn Place, St Cross Road, St Cross, has permission to build a rear elevation garden room.

Mark Rides has received permission for the extension of the Winchester College Boat House on Domum Road, Wharf Hill.

Mr and Mrs Petty, of Alder House, Cheriton Road, Fulflood, received permission for a double hip to barn hip conversion with 3no pitched roof dormers.
