A Georgian wine-making business has announced the next date for a tasting evening after the success of a dinner in May.

GeoNaturals has announced the next date for its Georgian wine-tasting dinners on Thursday, June 13 at 7pm. The first event, held at St. Paul's Church in Winchester, was a sell-out.

The evening saw live Georgian music setting the backdrop as guests mingled and shared their enthusiasm.

The menu in June will begin with a starter of Adjapsandali, a refreshing cold dish brimming with garden-fresh vegetables and aromatic herbs, perfectly complemented by warm, cheesy khachapuri. This course is paired with Rkatsiteli Classic, a wine that highlights the natural flavours of the ingredients.

The main course will be a Shkmeruli, a traditional Georgian roast chicken dish cooked slowly in a rich garlic sauce, served with stonebaked bread, followed by a dessert of a homemade honey and roasted walnut cake, served with organic natural yogurt.

The evening includes a wine-tasting presentation, where knowledgeable host Kaha will share insights into Georgian winemaking traditions.
