An evening celebrating the life and works of Sir Terry Pratchett is set to be held in Winchester.
'The Magic of Terry Pratchett' will see fans of the author come together at Theatre Royal Winchester from 7.30 pm on June 15.
Mr Pratchett was the author of more than 50 bestselling books including The Colour of Magic, Good Omens, Going Postal and his debut novel, The Carpet People.
Many of his novels have been adapted for stage and screen.
The event will look at his life from his days as a school librarian to his time as a trainee journalist on a local newspaper to his death from Alzheimers.
The event follows the 40th anniversary of his Discworld series and is presented by author and comedian Marc Burrows.
It is based on the writer’s highly acclaimed and Locus Award-winning biography, The Magic of Terry Pratchett.
Mr Burrows is a critic who writes for the likes of The Guardian, the i Paper and The Statesman and has a background in stand-up comedy, also performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
