A man from Romsey has been charged with a theft offence carried out on the recent bank holiday.
As previously reported, police were called at 2.53pm on Monday, May 27 to a report of a burglary in progress at an address in Botley Road, Romsey.
It was reported that people were seen on the property, and that a tyre had been removed from a vehicle parked on the drive.

Officers found that the garage at the address had been broken into. A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal. He has now been charged.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "James Robert Wood, 33, of Cutforth Way, Romsey, has been charged with theft from a motor vehicle. He was remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court today (Wednesday, May 29).
