A NEW weekly car boot sale is coming to Romsey.
The sale will take place every Thursday at the Romsey Town Football Club car park from 10am to 2pm with the first one taking place on Thursday, May 30.
The event has been organised by Romsey residents Katie Baker and Kai and Lucy Drake.
The trio have organised the car boot sale for the community of Romsey who can’t get to bigger sales due to either transport or mobility issues.
Katie said: “Me and my team were shocked when we started advertising the boot sale: we were full for our first week of sellers within three days!
“We are currently looking for a site in which we could hold a winter boot sale / Table Top sale midweek and on the weekend. Romsey Car Boot sale will go on every Thursday from 10am until 2pm to the general public, sellers from 9.15am. May 30 being our first!

“We have some supporting companies already helping us: Jspools, Ace Loos, Wayne & Sons Landscape Gardening and the Viney Shop & Post Office”.
Alongside the car boot sale, the Romsey Football Club Burger Van will also be present serving food.
Single pitches at future car boot sales will cost £5 for a single, 11ft pitch, £10 for a 22ft/van pitch.
Onsite parking restrictions only to Blue Badge Holders on a first-come, first-served basis.
