HUNDREDS of people descended on Ropley for one of its stranger annual traditions.
The town held its annual Pram Race on Monday, May 27 at the Ropley Recreation Ground.
Dozens of teams took part, with prizes being awarded for the best dressed and the quickest times.
The Competitors start and finish at the recreation ground and complete a two-mile course around the village, with one person having to sit in the pram at all times.

However, some of the prams were designed for style over speed.
Alongside the race, the event also featured an antique stall, a dog show, a plant sale, a barbeque and more.
This was the 59th year that the Pram Race has been run in Ropley. The event originally started in the mid-1960s, originally taking in the three village pubs, now all demolished or converted to other uses.
