THE jury has been sent out to consider a verdict of a Bishop's Waltham man accused of touching a boy's chest.

Keith Fielder, 69, of Claylands Road, is charged with sexually assaulting a boy, who was 15 at the time.

The incident, in which Fielder is alleged to have been wearing a skirt, tights and a Christmas jumper, took place on December 9, 2022 in Winchester Road, near the pond in Bishop's Waltham.

At the start of the trial, the judge Mr Recorder Gordon Bebb KC ruled that Fielder was unfit to plead. The jury is now being asked to decide on the facts of the case.

He had been charged with exposure, but the judge said there was not enough evidence on that count.

The jury was sent out at 3.30pm on Thursday, May 23.

The trial continues.
