Mucky Weekender has announced its headline opening night act with anticipation building ahead of the return of the festival this September.
The festival, from September 5-7, has announced Don Letts as its headline act for Mucky Weekenders opening party night. Don is a legend in the music industry, known for his work as a film director, musician and DJ.
The Grammy award winner has made a significant impact on the music scene, particularly in punk and reggae. In the late 1970s, he turned a whole generation of punks onto reggae.

As the host of his own show Culture Clash on BBC Radio 6 music, Letts continues to push boundaries and inspire a new generations of music lovers.
The opening party, which will take place on Thursday, September 5, will be supported with a performance by DJ/producers duo Utah Saints. Jez & Tim have been playing shows since the birth of house music, and will take attendees on a journey showcasing their samples, remixes, and tunes across all genres.

With headliners like The Dualers, Dutty Moonshine Big Band, Dub Pistols, Dreadzone, Congo Natty, Marshall Jefferson, LTJ Bukem and many more set to take the stage, Mucky Weekender is surely bound to be marked in the festival calendar for the end of season finale.
