A MYSTERY guidebook is offering a unique way to experience Winchester.
Put your knowledge of the city to the test, by delving into a 48-hour mystery guide.
The self-guided tour is a great way to learn more about the medieval city.
The 40-page activity booklet contains a story, clues, historical information and maps. The tour can be done in small groups or as a pair.
The city adventure includes popular landmarks and tourist attractions such as Wykeham Arms, Winchester College, Pilgrims School, the Guildhall and Cathedral.
The guide contains recommendations of where to eat, stay the night and historical facts for each step of the way.
The book - titled The Bishop's Golden Tankard - is part of a series created by Jack Wells, from Hampshire.
Jack started Mystery Guides in 2019 after working as a tour guide and studying history at university.
He has also written Mystery Guides about Southsea, Old Portsmouth, Bristol, Bath, Brighton and the West End, plus more.
He said: "As well as creating fun days out, I care deeply about creating lasting memories with those we love."
His team are now based at Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard, writing new adventures from within the walls of an old Victorian prison.
The books cost £9.99 from mysteryguides.co.uk.
