A MAN has been imprisoned after admitting to assaulting two people in Winchester.
Barry Mitchell, 40, of Crewenna Road, Praze, assaulted two people in Winchester on Monday, December 11, a court heard.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 17, Mitchell pleaded guilty to common assault and assault by beating.

He has been sentenced to 12 weeks imprisonment, with a restraining order put in place to stop him from contacting either of the victims.
An order has been put in place blocking Mitchell from entering Arthur Road – this lasts until May 16 next year.
Mitchell must also pay a £154 victim surcharge by July 1.
