Jewellery was taken from a house in Bishop’s Waltham and three other houses broken into in Alton during a series of burglaries.
Sometime between 9am and 12.45pm on Friday, May 17, entry was forced to a house on Siskin Close in Bishop’s Waltham, where jewellery was taken.
Another two houses on Bernard Avenue in Alton were broken into between 8am and 12.45pm on the same day, though nothing was reported stolen.
At 3.40pm it was reported that a house on Blackberry Lane in Four Marks near Alton had been broken into and cash had been stolen.
Nobody was injured in any of the incidents.

Officers stopped a car in the North Baddesley area and a number of suspected stolen items were inside.
A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dwelling burglary, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and drug driving. He remained in police custody as of 2pm on Sunday, May 19.
As enquiries continue, Hampshire Police is asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time and/or may have dash cam or doorbell camera footage to call 101, quoting reference number 44240206889.
