THREE generations of the same family are skydiving in memory of a Romsey teenager who died one year ago.
Clive, Scott and Aimee Wilson will make the 10,000 foot leap on the anniversary of the death of 19-year-old George Dillon, on Saturday, May 18 at Old Sarum airfield.
George's family set up the George Dillon Only a Dream Away CIC to help survivors and the families of people with traumatic and acquired brain injuries in becoming more independent via mobility aids, therapies, home adaptations and respite care.
Clive said: “George was the 19-year-old son of Scott's friend and SES supplier Darron (George's father) and sadly died in a road traffic accident in 2023. This year on George's 21st birthday there will be a fundraiser to raise funds in his memory to support people and families affected by serious brain trauma. We have decided to carry out this jump to help with the funding.

“We know all too well what Darron and Angie (George's parents) are going through and how this can help them move forward.
“We know what Darron and Angie and family are going through as we lost our 23 year old daughter Lisa Wilson in a car crash in Australia in 2002. We raised over £300,000 helping young adults who had overcome adversity with bursaries enabling them to fulfill their educational dreams and ambitions in the way Lisa did. Lisa had just left Solent Uni to travel the world when she lost her life. At the time starting the charity was my way of being motivated to get up in the morning.”
He added: “My 16 year old granddaughter Aimee, a pupil at Hounsdown school wanted to do the skydive so we bought it as a birthday present. Then her dad Scott and I decided to piggy back on it with her and start fundraising in aid of George.”
