CHILDREN and their families were given the opportunity to meet King Charles during a special visit to Test Valley.
The King and the Prince of Wales visited the Army Aviation Centre, in Middle Wallop, on Monday, May 13, to officially hand over the role of Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps to Prince William.

During the visit smiling children waved flags as the King arrived and later staff at the airfield and their families were given the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness.
Also as part of his visit, the King unveiled a plaque to officially mark the handover.
