OWING to family problems Claire Delmege was unable to demonstrate at the May Day meeting of Broughton Floral Club.
Sue Wall stepped in, ‘Reuse & Recycle’ was the name of her demonstration. She did not use any Oasis.
She started with a spring celebration set in two plastic bottles glued together and placed into a circular basket which she filled with pittosporum, mauve lisianthus and pink/yellow tulip heads together with white avalanche roses.
Reuse was on the cards for the second display, starting with a dried Christmas wreath and once again set in a very large circular basket was the base. The dried leaves and ferns mixed together with carnations cappuccino - coloured roses and blue delphiniums centred.
