Winchester City Council confirmed that the waste had been removed and that the caravans would be removed shortly.
A city council spokesman said: “We’re aware of two abandoned caravans on Rownest Wood Lane. Our contractors have already visited the site to clear waste from the caravans and our abandoned vehicle team are now beginning the process for their removal.”
