FEMALE business owners living in the Worthies are offered to attend for a couple of hours on Thursday, April 25 at The King Charles for some business networking with other local ladies. Tickets are available online at eventbrite and will take place from 9.30am until 12pm at The King Charles, 6 Lovedon Lane, Kings Worthy.

The Worthies Sports and Social Club will be holding a craft makers market on Sunday, May 19 at The Worthies Sports and Social Club, in Lovedon Lane. The event will be open from 10.30am to 2.30pm, with entry and parking free. Non-members are also welcome.

The Worthies branch of the Royal British Legion will be holding an evening of commemoration to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day on Tuesday, June 4 starting at 7pm. The evening will feature a World War two led Q&A session, re-enactment players in full period uniform demonstrating equipment and weapons, and a D-Day quiz.

The Worthies Sports and Social Club will also be holding a jazz jam at the club on Monday, May 20. The club will also be hosting its next bingo session on Sunday, May 12.

Littleton and Harestock residents have been invited to attend the Annual Parish Assembly, which will be held at Littleton Memorial Hall on Monday, May 13 at 7pm. The Assembly will feature an annual report about the council's work, a financial report from the Clerk and reports from guests including the Sir John Moore Barracks Army Training Regiment representative, Winchester City and Hampshire County Councillors. There is also an open forum for residents to comment or ask questions.

Flowerdown Care Home in Littleton is looking for community volunteers who would like to come and befriend residents at the home for a cup of tea and a chat, which can be done either inside or outside. NurtureYou Yoga is holding a number of free chair-based yoga classes at Crawley Village Hall, based at Peaches Hill Lane, which also has free parking on site. Attendees will be able to take part in the yoga sessions, socialise and enjoy coffee and cake afterwards.

Itchen Valley Church will be holding a fun and lively service at Itchen Abbas Village Hall at 11am on Sunday, May 12 to celebrate Palm Sunday and the last supper. After the service, attendees are invited to stay on to bring your own picnic and enjoy the food, as well as a bbq put on by the church.

Kings Worthy Parish Council will be holding its annual parish meeting on Monday, May 13 at 7.30pm. This year it will be in the School Hall at Kings Worthy Primary School.
