My polling station is in the Nether Wallop Village Hall and, armed with my photo ID, I duly dropped in to vote on Thursday evening.
However, despite my personal licence carrying my full name, address and photograph, as well as having been issued by the licensing unit of Test Valley Borough Council to allow me to sell alcohol, it was deemed unacceptable.
The election was, I was informed by the polling station election officers, a Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner election and not Test Valley.
I ask you!
Michael Draper,
High Street,
Nether Wallop
