GREATBRIDGE Road has been reopened after another lorry got stuck under the bridge.
A large heavy goods vehicle underestimated its height when driving through Romsey on Thursday, May 2.
Heavy delays were reported throughout the town, with the road blocked in both directions.
Police confirmed that they were called at approximately 4.15pm to reports that a lorry had crashed into the railway bridge, with no injuries reported.

People have told of their disbelief after a Romsey road was temporarily closed after another lorry crashed into a railway bridge.
The crash caused delays to motorists driving through the town as many had to take alternative routes. No injuries were reported, police said.
Similar accidents have been a common occurrence at the bridge.
In September 2023 a huge white lorry crashed into the bridge causing traffic to slow down near the junction with Duttons Road.
Many took to social media to react to the news. One Facebook user, Sarah Wilson said: “What is wrong with these people, surely they know how big the vehicle they are driving is.”
Melvin Roe added: “How many times will the authorities allow this to happen before they ban large vehicles using this route?”
A police spokesperson told the Advertiser today (Friday, May 3): "The vehicle has now been recovered and enquiries continue at this time."
This is just the latest incident involving the bridge, near its junction with Duttons Road, with more than 25 HGV collisions in the last 19 years.
The last time this occurred was in September, when a large white lorry slowed traffic to a crawl while its driver tried to squeeze the vehicle under the bridge.
As previously reported, Romsey residents have suggested that there should be better signage to warn lorry drivers of the low hanging bridge.
