A three-bedroom house in Winchester has been sold at auction for £200,000.
As previously reported, a three-bedroom former council house in Stanmore was auctioned at the start of May with a guide price of £190,000 - £210,000.
With vacant possession, the semi-detached freehold property at 12 Wolfe Close was among 149 lots listed across southern England by Clive Emson Auctioneers.

The auction was held on Wednesday, May 1 with bids being taken from 48 hours beforehand. The house is in council tax band C, and is freehold.
Mike Marchant, a senior auction appraiser in Hampshire for the regional land and property auction firm, working out of Whiteley, said: “The house, on the outskirts of Winchester, and with off-road parking to the front, fetched £200,000. Refurbishment is required.”
Freehold land in a residential area of Eastleigh with a guide price of between £80,000 and £90,000 is now re-available and is occupied by the remains of a former car repair garage.

The firm’s next auction, the 250th, ends on Wednesday, June 12, with bidding live from Monday, June 10. Lot entries close on Monday, May 20, with the catalogue available from Friday, May 24.
According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the average house price in Winchester in January 2024 was £505,000. This is a 7.3 per cent increase from £470,000 in January 2023.
The average price for first-time buyers, according to the ONS, is £380,000.
