A skate jam celebration will follow in due course where all members of the community will be invited to come along and enjoy the facility together.
The skate zone replaces the old skate park on the same footprint and Gravity Skateparks were the company awarded the contract.
The parish council financed the facility, with CIL funding assistance from Winchester City Council. CIL money comes from developers when they get planning permission for schemes to pay for infrastructure improvements.
