A theme park in Hampshire has been ranked as the in England according to the review site Tripadvisor.

Paultons Park, near Ower, now officially tops the Tripadvisor list of 'Theme Parks in England'.

The amusement park, which is home to Peppa Pig World, has an impressive score of 4.5/5 from 10,545 ratings.

This places it above the likes of Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Drayton Manor among others.

What do visitors say about Paultons Park?

Among the more than 10,000 reviews of Paultons Park on its Tripadvisor page, a huge number of them are positive.

Many families commented on how much their children enjoyed their experience at the park, as well as how well-maintained it was.

One person wrote: "This was a treat for our daughter and her friend, who both really enjoyed their weekend, as did we! We had a lot of fun and will definitely be back! So many memories for my 3yr old daughter already."

Another shared: "It was a fabulous day with so much to do and see. We were there at 10am leaving at 5:30 and could have still stayed longer. We will be back!!!"

Meanwhile, another posted: "We have just had a lovely day out at Paultons Park and the staff are so friendly, always on hand to help and the Park is kept spotless. Our two young granddaughters loved all the rides and having their photograph taken with the characters.

Paultons Park is set within 140 acres of land and has more than 70 different rides and attractions to pick from.

Aside from Peppa Pig World there are also several other themed sections to the park, including the Wild Lands section where you can see plenty of animals, and The Lost Kingdom section which has many dinosaur-themed attractions.
