A HAMPSHIRE woman has been banned from the road for a year for drink driving.
Jaspreet Anand,39, of Farriers Close, Preston Candover, was caught on Saturday, March 2 on the A303 near Bullington Cross, a court heard.
Anand had 41 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the legal limit of 35 micrograms.
She pleaded guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on April 16.
Anand was disqualified from driving for 12 months, which can be reduced by 12 weeks if she completes a course by November 15.
She has also been fined £1,508, and must also pay a £603 surcharge and £85 costs. The total amount of £2,196 must be paid by May 15.
