A HIGHSTREET shoe shop is closing its doors for good.
Ecco Shoes Winchester will close between June and July as the store’s lease has come to an end.
A 20 per cent off sale on products is currently taking place.
The shop manager told the Chronicle: “We’ve come to the end of our lease, and sadly the company decided to close us.
“I would like to thank everyone for the support they have given us throughout the years. We will continue to support them in the months until we close, directing them to where our closest stores are and where they can find our products online.

“We will be here until the end if they want to say hi.”
The manager said that Ecco Winchester employs five members of staff. He was unable to answer if the chain would return to Winchester in the future.
The shop opened in Winchester in November 2019.
It is the latest shop to close its doors in Winchester this year, following the closure of CGC Emporium in The Brooks Centre at the end of March and the shuttering of Patisserie Valerie at the beginning of January.
