A fundraising walk has been held in Winchester to raise funds for a ward which provides treatment for children with cancer.
On Saturday, April 20, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Christchurch Road hosted an event to raise money for the Northbrook Ward at Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.
The event, which consisted of a walk from the church to Winchester Cathedral, was held from 10am to 12pm.

The walk was organised by Chris and Abby Spencer, whose four-year-old daughter, Eliza, is having treatment for cancer at the RHCH.
Friends of Abby and Chris, as well as members of the church, attended the walk along the river towards Winchester Cathedral.

Along the way, attendees collected donations and handed out flyers to help support the family, as well as other families going through similar experiences, and staff who support and treat the children on the ward.
Eliza is a massive fan of walking, hence the decision to hold a walking fundraiser for the Northbrook Ward.
A friend of the family said: "We had a wonderful time, handing out over 130 flyers to members of the public as well as raising over £100 in cash, with all the money going to Northbrook Ward."
