LITTLETON and Harestock Women’s Institute recently celebrated their 100th birthday with a centenary lunch.
The event, at Littleton Memorial Hall, was attended by the Mayor of Winchester Angela Clear, the past chairman of the Hampshire Federation of Women’s Institutes and two Hampshire advisers.

A centenary cake was baked and decorated by two of the WI members and then cut by the mayor.
After the lunch, the Winchester A Capella Singers provided lively entertainment, rounding off a very special occasion.
