FIREFIGHTERS tackled a flat fire in Winchester city centre.
The fire occurred at approximately 8.20pm on Sunday, April 14 at a building in Sussex Street.
Teams from Eastleigh and Redbridge attended the incident, with all residents of the building being safely evacuated.

A Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “Last Sunday at 8:24 pm, Eastleigh and Redbridge firefighters were called to a first-floor flat in a three-storey residential building in Winchester following reports of a fire.
“A hose reel was used to extinguish the fire and ventilation fans to clear smoke.
“The stop message came in shortly before 9 pm.”
