A Met Office warning for Winchester and Hampshire as the area is set to be battered by strong winds.
The warning came into place from 6.25am and will go on until 10pm today.
The warning stretches for most of the South of England and the Midlands as well as Northern Ireland.
The UK's national meteorological service has warned that there may be delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport throughout today and there may be spraying from large waves on coastal routes and communities.
Some bus and train services might also be impacted by the wind with journeys taking longer.
The Met Office added: “Some short-term loss of power and other services is possible.
“Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely.”
