A car has been discovered completely destroyed in a fire in the middle of the road near Wickham.
It was found on Blind Lane near the junction of Pricketts Hill in the early hours of Saturday, April 13.
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said they got a call about the car at 4.13am.
Firefighters from Botley attended the scene at 4.26am and found that the car was 100 per cent affected by fire.
A police spokesperson said: "Colleagues at Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service contacted us just before 4:30am this morning (Saturday 13 April), with reports of an unattended vehicle on fire on the junction of Blind Lane and Pricketts Hill in Wickham.
"We will be conducting enquiries to establish the circumstances of what happened and whether any crime has been committed."
