Mike Marchant, a senior auction appraiser at Clive Emson, said: “Situated on the outskirts of the cathedral city of Winchester, the house has off-road parking to the front, and, although in need of some refurbishment, it is considered worthy of the works required.”
The house is in council tax band C, and is freehold.
According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the average house price in Winchester in January 2024 was £505,000. This is a 7.3 per cent increase from £470,000 in January 2023.
The average price for first-time buyers, according to the ONS, is £380,000.
