A PET grooming school and salon in Otterbourne has made it to the finals of the annual Animal Star Awards.
Based at Four Dells Farm, Able Groomers offers a range of services for dogs big and small, such as a full groom service, as well as hand stripping, bathing and brushing.
Owner Ruth Gooddard said: "Here at Able Groomers we are in the last year of being a dog grooming training provider for people wanting to be dog groomer. We do a lot of work with anxious dogs and have a great team ethic. No dog is turned away, big and small, we do them all. We help in the community by doing charity events and hosting students wanting to do work experience. We have lovely clients both owners and dogs and we all very much enjoy what we do."
Able Groomers is not new to awards, as it has previously won three Prestige awards. It is also up for Lux Life Award.
The Animal Star Awards were launched in 2016 and gives recognition to the extraordinary work animals and humans can do together.
The awards ceremony will take place down at the Village Hotel in Portsmouth on Sunday, May 26.
