A COLDEN Common man has been banned from the road for two years for being almost three times the drink-drive limit.
Elliot Cox, of Hawthorn Close, was caught on February 8 in a Volkswagen Caddy Van in Church Lane, Colden Common, a court heard.
Cox, 22, had 101 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.

He pleaded guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on March 28.
Cox was banned from driving for two years, which can be reduced by 24 weeks if a course is completed by August 10 next year.
He must also complete 100 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. The 22-year-old has to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85.
