A HAMPSHIRE villager has been fined more than £300 after speeding in Somerset.
Wiseman Timothy Mufushwa, of Mount Pleasant, Kings Worthy, was caught on the A303 between Podimore and Sparkford on August 18 last year, a court heard.
Mufushwa, 45, was driving 38mph in a temporary 30mph zone.
He was found guilty under the single justice procedure at Avon and Somerset Magistrates Court on March 26.
Mufushwa must pay a fine of £207, victim surcharge of £82 and costs of £90. This must be paid by May 21.
He was also hit with three penalty points.
