The Winchester Ramblers Group is optimistic about weather conditions improving for their Spring 2024 Walks Programme.
Despite cancellations in the recent wet weather where more than 50 walks were held, the group hopes for better weather to attract more participants.
The walks span the region, including short Winchester walks and longer hikes in both, the ancient Savernake Forest and Butser Hill.
Chair of Winchester Ramblers Richard Eve said at the launch: "The Spring programme looks forward to longer days and warmer, drier conditions for walkers to get out and enjoy the countryside around Winchester and beyond, and culminates in a Winchester Walking Weekend from June 14-17, alongside our annual June walking marathon and 'Grand Day Out' member events".
Details of the range of walks can be found on their website.
