A WINCHESTER thief has been fined for stealing from two city centre shops.
Saul Green, of Hyde Gate, Hyde, stole from the Co-op and Superdrug, a court heard.
The 33-year-old took toiletry items from Superdrug in the High Street to the value of £48.23 on Wednesday, November 29.
He also stole £25 worth of food from the Co-op in City Road on Monday, December 18.
Green pleaded guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March 12.
He must pay compensation of £25 and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.
