HOLLYWOOD sensation Jason Momoa is coming to Basingstoke in May.

It's not every day that you can say a member of the Justice League is coming to town, but soon residents of Basingstoke will get to meet Aquaman himself, as he headlines the second Basingstoke Comic Convention.

The event will take place from Friday, May 10 to Sunday, May 12, at the Hampshire Court Hotel in Chineham.

Jason Momoa is due to headline the convention on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12.

The actor, who is best known for his portrayal of the water-based member of DC's Justice League, Aquaman, has also notably appeared in Game of Thrones and, more recently, Dune and Fast X.

The 44-year-old American actor was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and made his acting debut as Jason Ioane on the syndicated action drama series Baywatch: Hawaii.

This year's Basingstoke Comic Con follows on from the success of the first event last year, which featured Doctor Who's David Tennant, and The Walking Dead's Jeffrey Dean Morgan
