TWO men have been charged with burglary after allegedly breaking into a college shop and stealing a charity box, cash register and deodorant.
The duo are said to have burgled the John Shields shop in Owens Road at around 1am on Thursday, March 21.
Andrew Pepper, 48, of Cayman Close in Basingstoke and David Rolfe, 42, of Peninsula Road in Winchester, were subsequently arrested in connection with the incident and charged.
The men allegedly entered the Peter Symonds College campus before taking a charity box, a cash register and items such as batteries and deodorant.
They are due to appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court today, March 23.
