NAOMI House and Jacksplace have announced a fundraising firewalk challenge.

Firewalking is a challenge where participants have to walk barefoot over a bed of hot stones or embers.

Taking place on Thursday, March 28th, at 7pm at the hospices in Sutton Scotney, the event will begin with a briefing before participants embark on their fiery journey.

Spectators are welcome to witness and cheer on the courageous walkers. All attendees can indulge in a BBQ throughout the evening.

Registration costs £20, with a suggested sponsorship target of £100. Those who sign up to take part will receive a welcome pack with fundraising tips and materials, support from the fundraising team on how to achieve targets, and the opportunity to visit the hospices.

All contributions will directly benefit Naomi House and Jacksplace and enable them to continue providing 24-hour nursing care to seriously ill children and young adults throughout central southern England.

Participants must be over 18 years of age. Younger people who can demonstrate maturity can also take part, but this must be discussed with the event organisers beforehand.
