OPINION is split over plans for a stable block for horses in a Hampshire village field.
Carolyn Collins wants to change the use of land in Mill Lane, Swanmore, from agricultural to equestrian.
She also wants a barn with stables, tack room, feed and hay store and outdoor Menage.
The application has received 18 objections and 13 supporting comments. It will be decided by Winchester City Council's planning committee tomorrow, Wednesday, March 13.
The plan has been recommended for permission.

An objection from Soberton Parish Council said: “The size and nature of the facilities would appear to be excessive for ‘personal’ use and more aligned to a commercial livery stable yard.
“The disposal of manure and position of the muck heap should be approved; we have concerns about the diffuse pollution into the Meon River.
“A stable yard of this size will create a large amount of manure with various other contamination from pharmaceuticals and cleaning products.”
Supporter Amanda Mitchell, of Fareham Road, Hambledon, said: “The plans for this small development are the absolute minimum requirement for anyone training at the highest level of equestrian sport.
“I believe this small development would have very little impact to the local community, especially considering the multiple almost identical facilities within walking distance.”
