I am sorry to have to come back to the subject of A&E and indeed Winchester hospital.
It is so important to thousands of people not just in Winchester but also the ever rising population on the outskirts.
The facts are: there are 11 housing estates in Winchester alone. Not counting the very small developments that are being built around Winchester. Then we come to the student population that is growing in number, but as we speak there is the possibility of many more coming. Not only is local A&E needed, it is imperative.
How better is our hospital to accommodate the population explosion in the area.
What is being advocated to be built in Micheldever/Basingstoke, is not going to help all the residents young and old in and around Winchester and the transport links or lack of them will cause unneeded stress.
My personal opinion, people will suffer because of distance and time when someone is in a heart attack and brain bleeds.
