A ROMSEY filmmaker is bringing his business to the town.
TheRedRed, run by Jake Hawkins, focuses on bringing the technology used in the film and television industries to the corporate sector.

“These are delivered through existing platforms like the Meta Quest as well as the new Vision Pro, which offers an entirely new way of delivering immersive digital experiences.
“Without giving too much away, essentially, we work with brands to ascertain what or where the experience element lies and work with them to produce an immersive experience for their customers.
“For example, a business looking to acquire funding for an eco-site expansion may want to develop an interactive experience where they can immerse their prospective funding bodies' top brass within the new development, even implement interactive elements such as a fly over where they would enter a plane and fly it over the development to see it from the sky.

“If you imagine trying on a high-end durable watch and seeing it in a rainforest environment setting while seeing the watch on your wrist, or seeing how a coffee machine would look in different places in your kitchen or seeing how a piece of marine electronics looks on your boat while enjoying a stunning sunset in Palma. Jake, who lives in Romsey with his wife and children, has seen success as a filmmaker, having shot a zombie movie which was sold at Cannes a few years ago, and has worked on music videos for Kerrang and MTV.
He has also worked as a video producer in the marine industry and currently teaches the next generation of filmmakers at the University of Winchester.
