The annual Winchester 10k has returned to the city centre this weekend as runners pounded the pavement on a glorious Sunday.
The Winchester 10k has been an annual event in the calendar since 1983, and has since become a popular event for runners from far and wide.
Residents will have noticed several road closures in place throughout the morning, with the 10k comprising of a one lap closed road route starting outside the Winchester Guildhall in The Broadway.
The route then headed from The Broadway up St George's Street before going out towards Kings Worthy.

The return leg of the race then passed through Headbourne Worthy and back towards Winchester before finishing at the North Walls Recreation Centre.
There was a mixture of serious competitors and people enjoying running, perhaps for the first time in an event like this.
Photographer Stuart Martin was at the race to capture the amazing faces that took part in the run.
Check out our gallery above to go through the emotions of the runners as they participated in the event.
