POLICE officers are sharing security tips following a spree of overnight burglaries in North Baddesley and Romsey.
Six sheds and garages were targeted on the night of Tuesday, February 13, including addresses in Brownhill Road, two in Middle Road, Rownhams Road and another two in Upper Crescent Road.
Items stolen include bicycles, e-bikes and gardening tools. No arrests have been made but Test Valley officers are investigating the reports and patrolling the area.

Test Valley Cops posted the following advice on Facebook: “We’d encourage people to have a look at the shed and outbuilding crime prevention page on our website hampshire.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/protect-home-crime/secure-shed-garage/.

Keeping your shed or garage locked at all times

Installing a battery-operated alarm

Using a padlock with no exposed screws

Securing any windows with wire mesh or grills

Locking tools away securely inside a locker or box or secured with a chain

Securing your bikes to the ground or to a lockable stand within a locked shed or garage
