A MAN in his 20s was injured after being assaulted outside a pub, sparking a police investigation.
Winchester Police received reports that the man was pushed, fell and hit his head on the ground outside The Broadway, formerly known as Pitcher and Piano, between 1.10am and 1.20am on Saturday, January 27.
The man was taken to hospital and later discharged. Officers are investigating the assault and are now appealing for witnesses.
A spokesman for Hampshire Police said: “We have been making enquiries to establish the circumstances of what happened, but if you witnessed this incident, and haven’t yet spoken to us, please call 101 quoting the crime reference number 44240038410.”
