THE Winchester 10k is returning this weekend.
The annual race originally started in 1983 and has become a popular event for local runners. This year it will take place on Sunday, February 18.
Several road closures have already been announced, with diversions in place. The Broadway will be closed from 8.10am to 8.50am, with some delays expected.
Further road closures around the city are also expected, and are planned to reopen from 10.15am.

The 10k will feature a one lap closed road route starting outside the Winchester Guildhall in The Broadway.
The route then heads up St George's Street before going out towards Kings Worthy.
The return leg passes through Headbourne Worthy and back towards Winchester before finishing at the North Walls Recreation Centre. The route is a mix of urban and countryside.
