WINCHESTER’S newest Indian takeaway has received the top food hygiene rating.
As previously reported, Desi Accent opened its doors on Wavell Way, Stanmore, just before Christmas.
It received a five-out-of-five food hygiene rating after an inspection on January 17.

Areas inspected included hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and buildings and management of food safety.
Business owner Madan Pandey said: “Desi Accent's success isn't just in its flavour but also in its commitment to excellence. This five-star rating from health authorities signifies our dedication to maintaining stringent health and safety protocols.
